Small but Strong

my name is brittany. some call me bitty. i’m twenty-three years old.

i live in a little town in new hampshire [in a house on a dirt road next to a field]. i work for a human rights foundation and in a counseling office. I want neither to be my career. three years ago, i fell in love with my very own geeky-sweet bearded guy.  i love taking photos, baking, cooking, painting, tearing apart clothes, and writing. I’m a polite, family orientated, animal loving girl. 

…and now for the randoms:

three of my cats are/were named after lord of the rings characters. 

i wish i could spend my days reading, volunteering, and traveling.

i try to find good (or at least a reason for the lack of it) in all people and beauty in every aspect of life.

My cousin is a salon owner. Therefore, i change my hair a lot and love that i am able to do so.

i have been a vegetarian since the middle of high school. (8 years?)

i have two tattoos. one. two. 

people almost always assume i am under the age of 18.

my ‘87 Cabriolet was given to me by a customer at a salon i used to work in. he, quite literally, dropped off the keys to my dream car. her name is lady goodman. 

my mom is one of my best friends. i don’t say that because i love her, i say it because it is true. 

i’m fascinated and in love with stingrays.

every day i work toward being confident in myself and in who i am as a person.
